How do I use the New WebPortal?

The updated OSAAP Web Portal is a custom web application that enables users to start foam inlay projects, provide basic information, upload photos, and .bord files.

This is a tutorial video showcasing the various features with the new web portal

You can access the new web portal here: OSAAP Web Portal

If you don't already have a BlueID account, select Create Account.

Enter your desired username, email, and password, along with any other required information.

Once you're finished, you can log in to the web portal and begin the board creation process.

1. Create/Manage Projects

  • You can create a project in two ways:
-From the Homepage, click the Create Project button from the dropdown menu on the left side of the screen
-Or, select Total Projects from the center panel, then click Create Project in the top right corner
  • Name your project and enter the email addresses of any collaborators you'd like to include. You can always add or remove collaborators later. Once you're done, click Create Project to get started.
  • You can access all of your projects associated with your BlueID account from the projects page.

2. Create/Manage Boards

  • You can choose Add Existing Board if you already have a finished design, or select New Board to start creating one from scratch.
  • When creating a new board, you'll be able to name it, select the material, set the dimensions, choose the quantity, and add any accessories. Don't worry-you can always go back and edit this information later if needed.
  • You also have the option to select Create Own at the top, which lets you design your own layout using Blue Shadow. For more details on using Create Own, click here
  • You can view all boards within a project, or you can select Total Boards from the dashboard to see every board associated with your account.

3. Upload Media

  • Once your board is set up, you can start uploading scanned photos right away-or choose to upload them later when you're ready.
  • For a more in depth look at scanning images, you can go here:
  • After you upload your media, OSAAP's design team will work on creating a custom layout for your board.

4. Approval Process

Once your board design is complete and reviewed by the design team, you’ll receive a notification on the homepage letting you know it’s awaiting approval.

In the Approval Requests tab, you can review the design, then choose to either approve or request changes to the board layout.

  • If Denied
You can provide the design team with a description of why the board was denied and upload any additional reference photos to help clarify your feedback. The team will address all concerns and update the design accordingly.
  • If Approved
The board design will be released into manufacturing and moved forward in the production process.

5. View Upload Problems

  • If there were any issues with scanned images or other problems encountered by the design team, you can view them in the Upload Problems tab on the homepage.
This section will display all upload-related issues associated with your account in one place.

6. Contact/Resources

  • If you have any questions about the process or general inquiries, you can reach out to OSAAP directly in two ways:

    • Click the Create Ticket button at the top of the screen. From there, select your project and board, then type out your question.
Tip: You can also access the Knowledge Base at the bottom of the ticket screen—it's filled with tutorials and articles related to the design process.

    • Or, click the Contact Us button at the bottom left of the screen for general support.
