Is OSAAP ITAR certified?

OSAAP America maintains a separate server and web portal for data that is considered sensitive and should be restricted to US citizens only. While we are not on any government network or considered ITAR compliant, we ensure that our sub-contractors do not have any access to the server(s) or data that we have classified as “USA001”.

The USA001 web portal does have a warning message that clearly states that we are not ITAR compliant.

We have found that it is typically not necessary to upload technical information to our servers but, if necessary, then other means can be taken to properly handle this data offline to allow us to extract the outline and depths to complete your shadow board design; the technical data is then deleted/destroyed upon your request.

In the end, our Shadow board CAD software and tool library only shows outlines with lesser precision and detail… typically limiting the sensitive technical data aspect. We do ask to restrict sensitive photos and technical data from our servers, but this falls on the users uploading the data.

We also offer a secured on-premises manufacturing option that allows for using your own milling machine(s) to use our process within your facility without connection to the Internet. However, this does disconnect you from utilizing our design services and access to any of your content. We also offer the ability to stay connected to our online services and features with the ability to manufacture both on-premises and with us. If interested in learning more, I can send you additional information. You can also see a video about our BlueNest software for on-premises manufacturing options.
